The dress code for the wedding is black-tie optional – a tux or dark suit for men, and a summery midi- or floor-length dress for women. Our venues are located on cobblestone streets and the beach, and we recommend choosing footwear accordingly.

The dress code for the welcome party is dressy casual. For men, this means slacks and a collared shirt (jacket optional), and for women, this means a sundress or pants and a blouse.

Typically, September in Nantucket is extremely pleasant – anticipate low 70s during the day, with temperatures dropping to around the high 50s at night. The weather on Nantucket can be finicky, so we definitely recommend bringing layers!

Yes! Shuttles will be provided from First Congregational Church to Galley Beach following the ceremony, and back to town following the reception at 10:00 p.m.

No – if you stay in town, Nantucket is very walkable, and taxis, rideshare and a public shuttle are also available. Visit our Travel & Stay page for more info.
